After
Trikon Shodhan, another adjustment called "Ekadhipatya Shodhan" can
be applied to further refine the Ashtakavarga scores. In Ekadhipatya Shodhan,
additional points are added to the Ashtakavarga scores of planets that are
lords of the 1st, 5th, and 9th houses (Trikona houses) from themselves.
Here's
how you can perform Ekadhipatya Shodhan:
1. Identify the Lords of Trikona Houses:
Determine the lords of the 1st, 5th, and 9th houses from the Ascendant (Lagna).
These lords are the Sun, Jupiter, and Mars, respectively.
2. Adjust the Ashtakavarga Scores: For each
planet, if it is the lord of any of the Trikona houses, add 1 bindu to its
Ashtakavarga score for each Trikona house it rules.
3. Calculate the Adjusted Ashtakavarga
Scores: Sum up the adjusted bindu values for each planet across all the signs.
This will give you the final Ashtakavarga scores for each planet after
Ekadhipatya Shodhan.
Here's
an example calculation for the Sun:
Adjusted
Ashtakavarga score for Sun after Trikon Shodhan = 67 (as calculated earlier)
Sun is the lord of the 1st house (Trikona house) Adjusted Ashtakavarga score
for Sun after Ekadhipatya Shodhan = 67 + 1 = 68
Repeat
this process for each planet, considering if it is the lord of any Trikona
houses, to calculate the final Ashtakavarga scores after Ekadhipatya Shodhan.
