After Trikon Shodhan

Trikon Shodhan is a process of reducing Ashtakavarga scores to determine the net influence of planets after considering their strength in specific angular houses (trikonas). Here's how you can perform Trikon Shodhan:

1.      Identify the Trikona Houses: The Trikona houses are the 1st, 5th, and 9th houses from the Ascendant (Lagna) in the birth chart. These houses are considered auspicious and provide strength to the planets placed in them.

2.      Adjust the Ashtakavarga Scores: For each planet, adjust its Ashtakavarga score based on its placement in the Trikona houses:

If a planet is placed in a Trikona house, add 2 bindus to its Ashtakavarga score.

If a planet is not placed in a Trikona house, leave its Ashtakavarga score unchanged.

3.      Calculate the Adjusted Ashtakavarga Scores: Sum up the adjusted bindu values for each planet across all the signs. This will give you the net Ashtakavarga scores for each planet after Trikon Shodhan.

Here's an example calculation for the Sun:

Original Ashtakavarga score for Sun = 65 (as calculated earlier) Sun is placed in Trikona houses: 5th house Adjusted Ashtakavarga score for Sun = 65 + 2 = 67

Repeat this process for each planet, considering its placement in the Trikona houses, to calculate the adjusted Ashtakavarga scores after Trikon Shodhan. Let me know if you need further assistance with the calculations!
